A Party Fit for The King

Rob & Robyn Ellis are two of our closest friends. We've seen each other through some pretty terrible times over the past 6 years. I guess that's why we relish the good times so much. Our lows have been pretty low so we tend to take the high times to the extreme.

Last night we gathered with all our friends to celebrate Rob's 40th Birthday. Robyn, at his request, threw an Elvis party. We had "Viva Las Vegas" playing on the big screen with the sounds of "Heartbreak Hotel" and "All Shook Up" blaring threw the speakers. Everyone came in costume. There was a hula-hoop contest and a jitterbug lesson. We had a couple of Elvis performances and Sonny & Cher made an appearance with a special song for the birthday boy and his lovely bride. To say we had a blast would be an understatement.

May I present Elvis & Priscilla (Rob & Robyn).....

And Sonny & Cher.....

Thanks Rob & Robyn for sharing the good times with all of us. You always manage to make everyone laugh. Sometimes intentionally. Sometimes not. We love you and wouldn't have it any other way.
