It seems to have all the makings of a banner year.
And because I'm the Mom and I tend to get nostalgic and weepy over moments like this, humor me while I take a second to show you how things have changed.
After a year apart, The Ocho found herself back in a class with two of her best buddies since kindergarten. Unintentionally I snapped a photo of them on orientation night that was pretty similar to one I snapped back in 2005.

Yep, 3rd grade is too grown up for my liking too. And 5th grade is worse!
